Gang Reduction Youth Development (GRYD) Program

What We Offer & How We Support You

The Gang Reduction and Youth Development (GRYD) Program at Champions in Service (CIS) provides holistic, family-centered, and community-driven support to reduce gang-related crime and violence while helping youth and young adults build safe, productive, and pro-social lifestyles.

Through community intervention, mentorship, case management, and targeted events, CIS works closely with participants and their families to create safer neighborhoods, strengthen relationships, and support long-term positive change.

Why It Matters

Gang involvement is often linked to systemic barriers, trauma, and limited access to opportunity. The GRYD Program addresses these challenges through early intervention, mentorship, and comprehensive support to help participants:

  • Make safe and positive choices
  • Strengthen family and community connections
  • Develop skills for education, employment, and leadership
  • Contribute positively to their neighborhoods

By supporting both individuals and the communities they live in, CIS helps create lasting change and safer environments for everyone.
