UPI is dedicated to supporting individuals seeking meaningful change by providing comprehensive, trauma-informed gang intervention services. Our program is built on trust, consistency, and cultural understanding, ensuring participants feel supported as they navigate challenges and work toward a healthier future. Through targeted outreach, our team meets individuals where they are—on the streets, in schools, in the community, and during moments of crisis. We build authentic relationships, assess immediate needs, and provide ongoing guidance that helps participants make safer, more informed decisions.
What We Offer:
- Personalized Support Plans: One-on-one guidance tailored to each participant’s goals and needs
- Tattoo Removal Assistance: Removing barriers and supporting a fresh start away from past affiliations
- Life-Skills Development: Strengthening communication, decision-making, and job-readiness skills
- Resource Navigation: Connecting participants to housing, employment, education, mental health services, and other community resources
- Crisis Support: Offering intervention during high-risk situations to reduce harm and prevent further involvement in violence
Community Partnership & Support UPI collaborates closely with community agencies, intervention specialists, schools, and families to ensure wraparound care. Our work is made possible through support from organizations such as the Ballmer Group, which helps fund programs, expand services, and strengthen our community impact. These partnerships allow us to provide consistent, culturally responsive support and coordinate services that address the full range of a participant’s needs.
