Creating safer environments, reduce risks for youth, and strengthen community trust.
Our Street Outreach team works directly in the community to build trust, prevent violence, and connect individuals—especially youth—with supportive services. Through consistent presence in neighborhoods, schools, and high-traffic areas, our team provides real-time intervention, mentorship, and crisis support.
What We Offer & How We Support:
- Street Outreach: Engage individuals where they are, offer guidance, and connect them to resources such as education, employment, mental health services, and gang intervention support
- Safe Passage: Maintain a visible, supportive presence before and after school to ensure students travel safely, reduce conflicts, and deter violence
- Crisis Intervention: Respond to community tensions or incidents to prevent escalation and promote safety
- Relationship Building: Build rapport with youth, families, and community members to foster trust and encourage positive decision-making
- Community Coordination: Collaborate with schools, local agencies, and faith-based partners to support neighborhood safety
Why It Matters: Street Outreach and Safe Passage create safer environments, reduce risks for youth, and strengthen community trust—helping prevent violence before it occurs and empowering individuals to make healthier choices.
